You can relax in our bar and eat in our Bistro style restaurant or, being exactly halfway between the University City of Bangor with it's shopping centres and the Historic Town of Caernarfon (where the investiture of Charles as Prince of Wales took place) you can enjoy the best of all worlds. Equidistant from Snowdonia and The Isle of Anglesey - with its sea Ferry Terminal for that day trip to Ireland! At Plas Dinorwic we offer unique boutique accommodation for every taste, each unit or bedroom being different. Our accommodation includes:- Twin bedded rooms, Double bedded rooms, Multi bedded (family) rooms, a selection of suites and penthouses with panoramic views of the Menai Straits, Sea View apartments and Stone built cottages. All accommodations are en-suite with tea coffee making facilities plus FreeView TV and free Wi-If. But please note, standard rooms do not offer a sea view. With easy access to Snowdon and The Snowdonia National Park, the north and west Wales coasts, plus the Isle of Anglesey we have all the best Wales has to offer. We are on The Waters Edge of Snowdonia! Among our many regular clients are major Radio, TV and film companies and as such we have been host to many celebrities down the years. Privacy and discretion therefore are our middle names. One of our regulars, a writer and film producer comes here for her inspiration quoting it to be her Palace of Peace and Tranquility! We were affectionately nicknamed The Pink Palace (because of our exterior colour) many years ago by a Welsh star of TV and Radio. More recently you may have heard us referred to on Radio 1 after their Big Weekend 2010, being their preferred hotel of choice and host to many of the BBCs VIPs. A special place, the resort is situated right on the banks of the Menai Straits and we can boast some of the most beautiful panoramic views in the area, with a warm, friendly welcome from owners and staff alike!
