Situated in the Scottish Highlands by Loch Ness, the original hotel built on this site dates back to 1740, six years before the battle of Culloden. The original building, parts of which still stand today, was a drover's inn, a stop over point for farmers taking their cattle to and from market. This traditional, quaint old building is perfectly located as the ideal base to explore the entire Highlands and Islands. We have 8 bedrooms of various sizes in the main building and 3 King size 'Tavern' bedrooms in the grounds. All our rooms are equiped with ensuite showers except our one, much sought after, four poster bedroom with a jacuzzi bath. The Tavern has ensuite wet rooms, one of which is equiped with assisted facilities. The bar and restaurant has a distinctly Scottish feel and a cosy atmosphere.
