Blue Door Cottages at Sherwood provide pleasantly quirky accommodation for couples and small families to enjoy on an individual basis but also form an ideal group for larger families and friends to enjoy each others' company while providing the space and privacy people need to really relax. Between them the cottages can easily accommodate 12 people and beds for groups of up to 16 can be arranged subject to agreement with the owners. MoreShed, Brew House and the Wine Cellar, have been sympathetically converted from some of the out-buildings at Sherwood and are set in about five acres of a rather overgrown woodland garden, which is surrounded by fields and backs on to a valley of mature forestry commission woodland. Each cottage is available for Short BreaksWeekends with generous continental breakfasts provided in the cottages, OR for longer (4 nights or more) Self-Catering stays.Set on the lower slopes of the Quantocks along narrow winding lanes but only 10 minutes from Junction 24 of the M5, Sherwood is a great place to relax but also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of Somerset and some of the attractions of the surrounding counties.
