Goodramgate Apartments is a collection of 8 self-catering apartments in a unique position nestled alongside the historic city walls in York. Seven of the properties are in grade ll listed buildings some 300 metres from York Minster, central, historic and inviting. One is a large Victorian town house by the river near Clifford's Tower. The racecourse is less than a mile and McArthur Glen designer outlet is a 15 minute drive or you can go by York's Park and ride service. Public parking is less than 200 metres away from all apartments.Friendly and approachable staff with local knowledge are available on site 7 days a week between 10am and 6pm.The Minster studio sleeps 2 adults and has a private outside terrace on the ground floor. Bootham Suite with first floor decked terrace sleeps 4 adults, one double bedroom and 2 single sofa beds in the lounge. The Jorvik apartment, Monks Loft and Micklegate Lodge all sleep 4 adults, all have double bedroom and 2 single sofa beds in lounge. St Maurice's Den sleeps 4, one double bedroom and double sofa bed in lounge. Ebor Mews is a townhouse sleeping 6 with 2 double bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Our newest addition is Bennett House, a renovated Victorian town house sleeping up to 15 in 5 bedrooms with a huge kitchen and 3 bathrooms, it is located 10 metres from the river bank at the eye of York, 30 seconds walk from the main shopping streets. York is an amazing city, by day you can travel 1000 years back in time at the Jorvik Viking centre, discover the undercroft and tower at York Minster or delve into the darkest depths of York's grisly past at the York Dungeon. Soak up the history of days gone by at York Castle Museum with its recreated Victorian Street , or pay a visit to Clifford's Tower, originally built by William the Conqueror. Plus of course meandering through York's tangle of cobbled streets is a history lesson in itself.
