As a special effects company Agog provides productions with positive and creative special effects solutions. We've created many recognisable (and award winning) special effects sequences for cinema, tv drama and commercials. Our work runs from design to delivery of physical effects providing safe, workable solutions to pyrotechnic special effects, fire and atmospheric special effects, the design and manufacture of mechanical rigs, action and traditional props, model-making and sculpture.
Our ... MoreUK special effects facilities in Oxfordshire are 45 minutes from Pinewood and Shepperton Studios, and include a 4500sq/ft workshop, ample hard standing for special effects rigs and our 40 foot shipping containers, and an off-site licensed pyrotechnic and armoury store.
Over the past 12 years Agog has invested, purchased and developed the very best special effects equipment for fast deployment to international locations. This includes mobile special effects workshops, telescopic handling equipment, transport for difficult terrains, including a 4.5m rigid inflatable boat. These investments keep third party costs under control within any production.

What we do… our responsibilities include the design and supervision of projects, estimate preparation, design and offering solutions around a budget, implementing cost control and providing shoot supervision and the hire of all related effects equipment. Agog’s equipment and workstations are designed for maximum flexibility, both on location and in a day-to-day workshop environment, whether being moved in a studio or knee deep in Moroccan sand!
Design… we always offer early pre-visualisation sketches sometimes models are more beneficial and are great for exploring ideas in an open discussion forum, these ideas are developed through to full technical drawings and often CAD integration to provide 3D views that can incorporate safety issues or specific instructions from the DOP or Grips and many other requirements into the design before the build.
