Big Bang Post Production is one of Bristol’s leading Post Houses. Set up in 2004 as a small boutique facility, we started out with two dubbing theatres, one online suite and some of the best picture and sound talent in Bristol. Since then Big Bang has gradually consolidated and expanded into all areas of post production, offering a comprehensive service under one roof, whilst preserving our personal approach.

We pride ourselves on delivering a high level of finish for both picture and ... Moresound. On the picture side we can offer complex compositing services more traditionally farmed out to a graphics house. We use Shake, After Effects and Avid DS and the world leading Digital Visions Phoenix system for image enhancement such as noise reduction, dirt removal and sharpening.

Big Bang purchased one of the first Baselight HD systems in the latter quarter of 2006 and has used it on hundreds of documentaries, natural history and drama productions.

We have three Dubbing Suites, each theatre is fitted with a TC Electronic System 6000 4 channel digital reverb unit, with audio legalising (LM100) and noise reduction software.
Our offline facility consists of seven light and airy edit suites, all with wired and wireless internet access, plus a dedicated machine and support room, all under the care of the offline support team. We can provide either Avid Media Composer or Final Cut Studio in every room.

The latest addition to our offline department is a 64TB ISIS 5000 shared storage server from Avid. This allows simultaneous support for Final Cut and Avid based projects, and can be accessed from all offline suites, as well as our conform and online suites, allowing for a swift transition from offline to further post.
