Furthermore, they are favored by Hollywood’s most fashion conscious celebrities, fashion critics, costume designers, and dignitaries. They have found Bon Choix Couture to be very distinctive, especially in creating a commanding and magnetic fashion presence.

The Bon Choix Couture label was founded in 1963 by Mariam Barbar. She started sewing at the age of 8 and soon became one of the best dressmakers in Lebanon. Mariam’s excellent work attracted several well-known Arabic and Kuwaitis princesses like the Al-Saba’s family and additional distinguished diplomatic families. At the age of 29, Mariam worked as a single mother while raising two sons. The youngest son KoKo, took to the craft of sewing and started working with his mother immediately. At 14, the eldest son Jack started working as a tailor in the highly demanded and prominent tailor shop Elias Tabet, known for dressing the president of Lebanon. In 1979, Mrs. Barbar and her family relocated to Los Angeles, where she opened a shop in Beverly Hills on Robertson Blvd under its present name Bon Choix Couture.
