The Acidic Critic ‐ Portland OR

The accompanying picture should serve as verifiable photographic proof that I actually venture out of my cinematic bat cave from time to time. (Yikes, what's that large yellow thing in the sky? And do I need to review it?)

A film journalist for nearly a decade, with the last 4 years' reviews linked to my Rotten Tomatoes critic page, I've reported from both Cannes and Sundance (with the wonderful doddle gang). A further bio can be found here; you can reach me kimberly at doddleme.com

James DeRuvo

James DeRuvo

Tech GURU ‐ Los Angeles, CA

Throughout my fabled imagination, I have had an epic career. When I was eight, I walked the moon with Neil and Buzz. At 17, I blazed down the slopes of Innsbruck with Franz Klammer, and at 20, I was yelling "action" on the set of Raiders of the Lost Ark. But since most in the real world don't accept such amazing things on a resume, I can just settle for spending most of my adult life writing about technology and being a radio broadcaster.

I was a tour guide at Universal Studios for awhile, that was fun. And I like to fly airplanes. Honest. Favorite film? Patton. It's a war film and an antiwar film all at the same time. Color? Dallas Cowboy blue. America's team. Nuf said. Currently, I'm a wordsmith with DoddleNEWS and host of DoddleTALKS Tech.

doddleNEWS Writer ‐ Glasgow, Scotland

Aside from working for doddleNEWS, I write about technology for a digital marketing company. At night, I watch TV and then eventually fall asleep. I intend to do this until I keel over and die prematurely.

I'm a Reel Jersey Girl always on the run. Burning the midnight oil when writing for doddleNEWS then keeping an eye out for great films and fests as co host for herFlix, an online film and festival reviews site. Can't help but hit the road in my Honda del Sol, still rocking at 295k miles– wayfarers on –looking out for the last great movie houses (haunted or not) and watching films on the big screens. Living is my art form. You can catch up with me at filmfestivalreviews.com

Danny F. Santos

Danny F. Santos

doddleNEWS Writer ‐ Based out of Toronto, ON

I was born and raised in Soviet Canuckistan, or "Canada" as some people may call it. I've been in front and behind the camera since I was a kid and now prefer to sit down before the keyboard writing-- the hours are better and I can wear a house coat doing it.

I'm also a huge dork and while I can't remember what I did yesterday, I can tell you I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time when I was 9 after buying the VHS tape at a garage sale. That's the way my brain prioritizes memory, movies first, my actual life later.

doddleNEWS Writer ‐ Ft Lauderdale, FL

It's a pleasure writing for doddleNEWS - I call upon my vast background in this crazy business and get to share with the loyal viewers! I'm a freelance HD audio/video technician by trade (I do it all, from write to shoot to DVD master) and a writer on several other platforms. My labor of love position is VP of my family's growing tutoring company. Reading is paramount and we're trying to help people improve their skills - then I can interest people in our areas and send them right here to Doddle to practice! In my spare time (what's that?), I'm Netflix and HuluPlus' new largest bandwidth consumers, and an amateur radio operator. Questions? Sure - email me at patrick at w4psj dot com!
